Jessica Pleur is a Stockholm-based artist and writer, working during the brand Jessica ritar. Her debut novel ”Thrillerliv” was published in 2013 and in the autumn of 2023 a book with her drawings/comics will be published in Sweden.
The messages in Jessica's art often - but not always - revolve around themes such as being weird and not quite fitting in, anti-achievement, and that homes (and souls) benefit from being a bit messy.
Naivety and colors take over in the aesthetically maximalist expression. She usually works with various markers.
