Ceramic Artist | Crete, Greece
I am a ceramic artist born and raised in Greece, and I currently live and work on the island of Crete, where I have my own ceramic studio. Each piece I create is an expression of my emotions, a bridge that connects me to others, and a way to engage with the world.
In my studio, distractions fade, and I become immersed in the creative process. I believe art has a transformative and healing power—it helps me center myself and allows for a deep connection with the present moment. Every ceramic piece I create reflects a part of who I am, capturing my thoughts, feelings, and experiences at that particular moment.
As a ceramic artist, I specialize in hand-built ceramics. I appreciate the tactile nature of working with clay, as each piece I craft has its own unique character. From the initial shaping to the final firing, the process is deeply meaningful to me, but my favorite stage is painting. The application of color and texture brings my creations to life and gives me the opportunity to add the final touch of expression.
My goal is to evoke feelings of happiness, playfulness, and joy through my work. When someone interacts with my pieces—whether by seeing, touching, or experiencing them—I hope they are reminded of the beauty and joy in life, and that they feel a sense of connection with the art and with me as the artist.
